Nobody on the bus was suspecting that there would be anything wrong with the ride. Why should they? It was just another bus transporting passengers... right? Wrong. At about 5.27 am on Interstate 10 just south of Phoenix, the driver of the bus accidentally hit the rear-end of a truck in the front of the bus as they were moving. The bus went out of control and swerved left, and then to the right. In the process, it flipped and went into the ditch. There were six deaths, and even more were injured. Among the fifteen injured were two eleven-year-olds. The bus wreck blocked both of the westbound lanes of traffic, and officials from the Public Saftey Department have no idea when the lanes will be opened again. CNN affiliate KNXV-TV caught an aerial view of the video.

A hiker was hiking up the volcano of Mt. St Helens, and apparently he fell in. He was last heard blowing his emergency whistle. Apparently, strong winds blew the snow and made it cave in, so now the man is in the crater of the volcano. Sherriff Cox’s phone rang with the news that the 52 year old fell in. Nobody knows at this point if he survived the 1,500 feet drop, and although chances are slim, authorities will continue looking.
