The new movie, "Despicable Me," is one of the few movies that surpasses its trailers. I saw it on the same day that it came out, July 9, and I can honestly say that it was one of the better movies that I have seen. The movie is about a villain who has set his mind on stealing the moon, but conflicts arise when three girls come into his life. This movie is a wonderful family movie, and it is well worth your time to watch, especially if you like comedy movies.
Did you know that desktop backgrounds don't have to be just pictures? They can also be html pages! Using a free piece of javascript from the one and only Rainbow Arch Script Library, I put together an html page that shows a black background with a colorful snake that moves all over the page. I now have this as my background!
I have created the first copyright notice that everyone will enjoy! It is geared towards a wide range of three intelligence levels! Click here to view this wonderful copyright notice!
A message to each individual intelligence group:
For Smart People: Enjoy the wonderful text, positioned very carefully for the users' delight. You will be amazed (or bored) to know that with a little javascript, the current year that you see on the document will always be current.
For Stoo-pid People: Try not to think as hard as you usually do and just watch the crazy worm randomly crawl across the page.
For the Majority of the People: Stop thinking "What is normal?" and choose one or both of the above options. Then, go back to your lives of asking yourselves what the meaning of life is. (I happen to have the answer.)
There are three movies coming out in theaters that I think are going to be pretty popular with the family. Their names and a synopsis of each are listed in order of release date.
This has to be the best optical illusion ever! You look at it, and the gears around your focus point seem to spin, but the picture itself doesn't move! This optical illusion is called the "Rotating Snake." Click the picture for a bigger view! Feel free to download it by right clicking the image and selecting the "save link as" option.
I thought that this was the funniest trailer that I have ever seen! Despicable Me is a movie about a villain who plans to steal the moon. This trailer in particular does not give us any information about the movie itself, but it is funny nonetheless. I give it five stars! To see it, click here to see it.
My friend is completely obsessed with NASA, and he found a video that shows the International Space Station being put together, part by part. It is actually very cool, so if you click here, you can view this movie in FULL SCREEN, just like the games I provide. You must have Windows Media Player to view this video. To download Windows Media Player, click here.
Do you want to stay inside and enjoy nature at the same time? Personally, I am not that big of a nature fan, but I think it is kind of cool to see an up-close live view of an eagle nest. What, you want to see it? Click here to view it!
There are two radars that I like to use when I am wondering what the weather is. The first is the United States Radar Loop, supplied by Weather.gov, and the other is the Oklahoma Advantage Doppler Radar, provided by KOCO. Sometimes, I like to access these websites all at once without inserting the URL each time, so I built a batch file that open them all at once. This file will do just that. I have attached it below, and it is completely safe! Distribute it as you please! Enjoy.
Also, I made an HTML file that views both the Oklahoma Advantage Doppler Radar and the United States Weather at the same time. Click here to view it.
